Conditions of Hire
- All items remain the property of Valans Restaurant. The hirer will be charged for the replacement cost of missing or damaged items at the replacement cost. Once delivered the responsibility of all hired items becomes that of the hirer until time of collection/return.
- Any shortages found on delivery must be notified immediately otherwise the hirer will be charged for the missing items at the replacement cost.
- Our hire charges are priced per item which includes V.A.T and delivery/collection within a 5mile radius of the restaurant. Additional mileage will be charged at £0.60 per mile in each direction.
- Each hire period is for a maximum of 48hrs from the time of delivery.
- Delivery and collection to the site must be on ground level unless alternative arrangements have been agreed prior to delivery.
- Hire items must be ready packed in boxes supplied for collection. All delivery and collection times will be agreed at the time of booking. The hirer may collect and return items and will not incur any delivery charges.
- All items must be cleared of debris or liquids prior to being packed in the boxes provided.
- Cancellations within 2 days of delivery will be charged at 50% of the total hire cost.
- Payment must be made in full prior to delivery.
